That’s because in contrast to most companies in the UK, we believe that older is better.
We have moved beyond the impatience of youth.
We don’t want slick young salespeople in search of a swift profit - and with no interest in our customers’ needs.
Our priority is different. Our priority is to establish trust with our customers and a solid reputation with the disabled community.
That’s why we require people who are patient and understanding. People who may have health and mobility problems of their own - people who will not just listen to your problems but will understand them.
That’s why our people actually listen to your problems, and recommend products based on actual needs rather than profit margins. Which means despite having some of the lowest prices in Europe, there is no compromise on service.
And that’s why none of our employees are under 50.
Note: Just to avoid trouble with the discrimination act, we need to add we would be prepared to hire a young healthy and able-bodied person to work in our firm. They'd have to be bloody good, though.
